Information Regarding IACS3 Registration Fees
You may choose to pay your IACS3 conference registration fees either by credit card (Visa or Mastercard) or by bank cheque. Credit card payments are preferred and are recommended in order to ensure successful, on-time registration. All payments will be made in Canadian dollars (CAD). Fee payments include two mandatory components and two optional components.
Mandatory Payment 1: IACS3 Registration
The primary conference registration fee is mandatory and will be charged according to the following tiered pricing scale:
|Earlybird (by May 1)
|Late (by June 1)
Thanks to strong supplementary support from our funding partners, your conference registration will bring you three days of programming, including six plenary lectures, two receptions, regular coffee and refreshment breaks, the conference book of abstracts and one or two lunches, pending total number of registrants and total funding.
Receptions include a welcome reception at Ryerson University on July 12 and the main conference cocktail reception with complementary museum passes in The Art Gallery of Ontario on July 13.
Please note that these fees are already inclusive of a $3.35 payment service charge plus 14.79% in taxes and transaction surcharges.
Mandatory Payment 2: IACS Membership Dues
The second mandatory fee for registration is the cost of your Two-Year Membership Dues for IACS. These fees are charged at $20 (CAD) for Student Memberships and $50 (CAD) for Regular Memberships. Please note that only active members are eligible to present papers during the conference. Unless you have already paid your IACS membership dues via the iacs.dk website for the 2018–2020 cycle, these fees are required for your registration to be considered complete.
Optional Payment 1: Pre-Conference Workshop (July 12)
On Thursday Afternoon, July 12, renowned phenomenologist and philosopher of movement and dance, Professor Maxine Sheets-Johnstone, will lead a two-hour, pre-conference experiential workshop entitled “Movement Improvisation: If the Body is Part of our Discourse, Why not Let it Speak?”. On Saturday evening, July 14, conference attendees will be given the opportunity to participate in a memorable social event including a formal banquet with entertainment at a distinctive venue in downtown Toronto. The ticket price for participating in this event is $55.
